Trulia Heat Map Crime. I'm interested in making a heat map based on a series of latitude longitude points. I worked with Zain Memon and Sha Hwang on this project.

Trulia has launched Crime Maps, a service that pulls statistics from local police departments around the country to create a heat map that shows which neighborhoods have the highest crime rates. Methodology: Our nationwide meta-analysis overcomes the issues inherent in any crime database, including non-reporting and reporting errors. Yet Trulia has survived — and thrived.

You just enter the address and choose the Crime tab and it will show you the heat map.
